Every program runs online no matter where you are. In-person sections are also available through partner sites in each country we serve.
United States
The majority of our partner sites — community centers, libraries, and credit unions — plus live online sections. Credit Fundamentals covers the FICO® scale used by US lenders.
Canada
Partner sites in major metro areas, with every program also offered live online. We cover how Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada reporting compares to the US model.
United Kingdom
In-person sessions at UK partner sites plus full online access. You pay the GBP equivalent at checkout. UK scoring works differently across Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion UK — we cover that distinction directly.

Is Credit Genius actually free?+
No. Credit Genius runs on a sliding scale, so you pick a price within each class's range at checkout. No one is turned away for cost; a small number of sponsored seats are available by request.
Do I need a credit check or a credit file to enroll?+
No. There's no credit check to attend any class, and we work with people who have no credit file at all, damaged credit, or strong credit who want to plan ahead.
Can I take a class online?+
Yes. Every program runs live online in addition to in-person sessions at our partner sites across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Will enrolling affect my credit score?+
One annual credit pull is included with enrollment, run as a soft inquiry that does not affect your score. We never run a hard inquiry without your separate, written consent.
Are you affiliated with any other organization called Credit Genius?+
No. We're an independent company and aren't affiliated with any other company, app, or platform using a similar name.
